The Necessity of Establishing This Institution
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ e : «مَنْ مَاتَ وَلَمْ یَعْرِفْ إِمَامَ زَمَانِهِ مَاتَ مِیتَةً جَاهِلِیَّةً.»
The Holy Prophet \ is reported to have said: “Whoever dies without recognizing the Imam of his time, dies the death of (those who died in the era of) ignorance.”
According to many scholars such as Allamah Majlesi, this illuminating hadith has been narrated successively by numerous Sunni and Shia hadith transmitters.
This hadith and tens of other rational and textual proofs are solid evidence for the necessity of knowing the Imam D in order to survive deviation and find salvation. Whosoever does not get to know his Imam, lives in ignorance and will die in ignorance.
Definitely, this knowledge has to be learned; and without the light of knowledge, the darkness of ignorance will remain standing.
In a world where oppression is rampant and maximum injustice prevails especially against the Shia and lovers of the Ahl al-Bayt =; in a world where the path to perdition and deviation has become popular and true values have faded away; in a world where the voice of the oppressed reaches the majority of people and yet they remain indifferent ...
… The only way to salvation is the promised Mahdi D. It is obligatory on everyone to introduce this way to others as much as he can so that some people may find salvation and step in the path of light, and no excuse is left for anyone.
لِيَهْلِكَ مَنْ هَلَكَ عَنْ بَيِّنَةٍ وَ يَحْيَىٰ مَنْ حَيَّ عَنْ بَيِّنَةٍ وَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَسَمِيعٌ عَلِيمٌ
So that he who perishes might perish by a manifest proof, and he who lives may live on by a manifest proof, and Allah is indeed all-hearing, all-knowing. (8:42)
For this reason and as one of the Shari'a obligations, we established an institution to promote the teachings of the Twelfth Imam D.
We hope that with God's blessings, we can take some steps, albeit small (to the extent of our capacity), in this long way, so that the embarrassment at our shortcomings and faults in relation to God's proof, the Imam of our age, will be reduced a little, God willing.
Our Audience
Our audience are all present and future people. There are billions of people who live today or may come in future. If they come to know and are guided by the light of Ahl al-Bayt =, especially the Twelfth Imam D, they will receive great happiness both in this world and in the hereafter. Some of them may even get to become the Imam’s companions and serve him in his uprising.
There are billions of people, including Shia and non-Shia who do not have as much knowledge about the Imam of their era as they should, and they need education and training so that they can learn about the Imam’s teachings and live their lives according to these teachings.
There are billions of people guiding whom is obligatory because of ‘the obligation of guiding the ignorant’. Fulfilling this obligation is the duty of every person who can guide others (through his knowledge, wealth or any other means) and introduce the Imam D to the people of the world.
Institutes and Organizations Active in the Field of Mahdism
According to the research done, in the field of spreading Mahdawi teachings, there are, praise be to God, many institutions and centers the various programs of which and their strengths and weaknesses cannot be elaborated on here. Nevertheless, what has been done so far compared to what is needed to be done considering the needs of billions of people is like one drop of water to quench the thirst of all people. If what has been done were to be multiplied hundreds of times, still it would not be sufficient and the need would still remain. That is why the aforementioned obligation still persists.
It is necessary to mention that what we are trying to establish, God willing; that is, an education and cultural center with a comprehensive scope of activities and special features, is rare or perhaps unique compared to those established before.
Al-Imam Al-Mahdi D World Institute
Al-Imam Al-Mahdi D World Institute is a center for spreading the teachings of Ahl al-Bait =, especially Imam Mahdi D, in various languages to all nations and countries in the world.
Alhamdulillah, in the middle of Sha'ban 1444 (March 8th, 2023) on the birthday of Imam Mahdi D, the savior of mankind, the center’s website was launched.
This Institute is non-governmental and completely independent. It was established by a group of Imam Mahdi’s lovers on Sha'ban 3rd, 1443 (March 6th, 2022) and is actively running.
With the help of the Imam D, we hope to step in the way with which his eminence is satisfied; God willing.
Main Objectives
Note: The achievement of each of the goals stated below depends on God's favors and many financial and non-financial prerequisites, which we hope will be completed soon with the help of Imam Mahdi D.
1. Production and distribution of short animations on the subject of Mahdawi teachings for different age groups (dubbed in different languages)
2. Production and publication of audiobooks with the aim of promoting Mahdawi culture
3. Recording and offering specialized educational courses on Mahdawi teachings (virtual classes)
4. Holding online teaching courses, private, semi-private (one to five people) and public (six to thirty people), which offers Mahdawi teachings online for different age groups and levels
5. Producing and spreading Mahdawi teachings in a systematic and attractive manner and by an academic and expert style in social networks
